Open and Search Support Tickets

Customers and agents can open tickets using any device from frontend and backend. Ticket search pages can be limited to logged in or agents only.

How to get started

  • Create plugin default page using WP Ticket Step assistant
  • Create Support Staff(Agent) pages
  • Set up New Ticket Notifications for admin and customers from WordPress Dashboard > WP Ticket > Notifications > New Ticket accordion for admin and customers
  • Set up New Tickets Assigned for agents from WordPress Dashboard > WP Ticket > Notifications > New Tickets Assigned accordion 
  • Set up Ticket pages by enabling/disabling fields or designing page layouts from WordPress Dashboard > WP Ticket > Settings > Entities > Tickets
  • Set up Agent pages by enabling/disabling fields or designing page layouts from WordPress Dashboard > WP Ticket > Settings > Entities > Agents
  • Customize Open a ticket and Search tickets forms from from WordPress Dashboard > WP Ticket > Settings > Forms
  • Add WP Ticket pages to your menu system from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus 
  • Add WP Ticket widgets to your sidebars system from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets
  • Enable/Disable Taxonomies; Priorities, Statuses, Topics
  • Add terms to WP Ticket Taxonomies; Priorities, Statuses, Topics
  • Submit your first ticket ticket and test
  • If everything is o.k., enjoy your new support system
